As part of our ongoing commitment to holistic and experiential learning, our students recently visited the Museum of Solutions (MuSo) in Lower Parel, Mumbai. The visit was a thoughtfully curated educational experience that encouraged students to think critically, engage creatively, and explore real-world issues through hands-on discovery.
About MuSo (Brief Introduction)
The Museum of Solutions is an innovative, child-centric space designed to nurture curiosity and empower young minds to explore global challenges through play, creativity, and problem-solving. With interactive exhibits and thoughtfully designed learning zones, MuSo promotes awareness and action on topics such as climate change, sustainability, technology, and empathy.
Our Experience at MuSo
From the moment we arrived, the excitement was palpable. The vibrant space immediately sparked curiosity among the students, and the museum’s open, interactive environment made them feel comfortable and encouraged to explore freely.
The students rotated through several thematic zones, each offering a unique learning experience:
- Play Zones: Through large-scale physical installations and sensory play areas, students explored concepts like energy, motion, and balance in ways that were both fun and intellectually stimulating.
- Discovery Exhibits: These sections focused on environmental awareness, water conservation, marine life, and sustainability. The interactive storytelling and visual displays helped students understand complex global issues in simple, relatable ways.
- The ‘Make’ Area: This creative lab allowed students to experiment with tools and materials to build, design, and test their own small-scale solutions. It was particularly rewarding to see students work collaboratively, apply critical thinking, and enjoy the freedom to innovate.
- The ‘Grow’ Space: A nature-focused zone where students engaged with concepts such as composting, gardening, and natural ecosystems. This hands-on exposure to sustainable living practices left a lasting impression on many.
Reflections from the Students
The visit was not only educational but deeply inspiring. Here are a few student reflections that highlight the impact of the experience:
“It made me think about how I use water at home. I didn’t know small things could make a big difference.”
“I liked building something on my own—it made me feel creative and confident.”
“The stories about animals and nature made me want to do something good for the environment.”
Why Experiences Like This Matter
At Indian Glory English School, we believe that education should extend beyond the classroom. Visits like these expose students to alternative learning environments where knowledge is absorbed through interaction, exploration, and dialogue.
The MuSo visit not only supported academic learning but also helped nurture key values such as:
- Empathy and environmental responsibility
- Curiosity and creative problem-solving
- Collaboration and independent thinking
These are critical skills and attitudes for the 21st-century learner, and we are proud to be able to provide opportunities that help foster them.

Gratitude and Acknowledgement
We extend our sincere thanks to the team at the Museum of Solutions for hosting us with such care and enthusiasm. The thoughtfully designed space and supportive facilitators made the experience both enriching and enjoyable for our students.
We look forward to more such educational explorations that continue to broaden our students’ horizons and encourage them to be thoughtful, innovative, and compassionate citizens of the future.
