OUR PROCESS

Our NGO is deeply committed to ensuring every child in the slums receives an education. Our team conducts door-to-door surveys to identify children who are not attending school.

We engage with families to understand the challenges they face and address any issues that may prevent children from enrolling. Once barriers are resolved, we bring these children into our school.

We are especially devoted to promoting girls’ education,many girls study free of cost with us due to financial constraints or large family responsibilities.

Laxmi: Rising Beyond Doubt

Laxmi arrived from a small village, her past shaped by Hindi medium schooling and a family struggling to make ends meet. With a stepfather and parents facing deep poverty, even affording basic education felt impossible. Burdened by insecurity and unable to speak English, Laxmi found it hard to connect with classmates or engage in her studies, her confidence nearly lost.

Recognizing her challenges and potential, our initiative stepped in, waiving her school fees and offering consistent support. Patient teachers became her guides, encouraging her with gentle counseling and genuine care. Slowly, Laxmi began to open up, not just to her books, but to the hopeful possibilities ahead. With newfound motivation and a belief in her own abilities, she studied diligently and passed her 10th standard exam with distinction.

Laxmi’s journey is proof that empathy and opportunity can transform even the quietest voices into stories of triumph. Her success is not just an academic result; it is a testament to the power of community and compassion to empower those who need it most.

Shama: From Dropout to Achiever

Shama’s world was shaped by hardship, her parents were garage daily wage workers, struggling to secure even the essentials for their family. Lacking confidence and hope, Shama dropped out of school, feeling lost and disconnected from her dreams. But with the support of our education initiative, she was welcomed back and enrolled in 8th standard, receiving encouragement and guidance from caring teachers.

Recognizing the family’s dire situation, we waived Shama’s fees in 10th standard, ensuring money wouldn’t stand in the way of her potential.

With her spirit rekindled and support surrounding her, Shama worked hard and cleared her SSC with flying colours, transforming doubt into pride and inspiring those around her to believe in second chances.

Tabrez: Breaking Barriers Through Opportunity

Tabrez comes from a low-income family, burdened not just by financial struggles but by the daily reality of caring for his two handicapped brothers. With so much responsibility and stress at home, studies were never his priority, and hope for a brighter future seemed out of reach.

Understanding the heavy load his family carried, our team stepped in and waived his school fees,lightening the burden and opening a door that once seemed shut.

With this lifeline, Tabrez found new motivation to focus on his education. Free from the worry of imposing more expenses on his family, he poured his energy and determination into his studies. Against the odds, he cleared his SSC with flying colours, becoming a proud example that with timely support and understanding, even the toughest challenges can be overcome.

Tabrez’s journey is a reminder that no dream is too distant when there is a community willing to believe and invest in a child’s future.

Arshad: Turning Away from Darkness to a Brighter Path

Irshad’s early life was marked by hardship, growing up as the child of carpenters who worked as daily wage laborers. The weight of poverty, coupled with the difficult environment he lived in, drew him into a circle of bad habits, addiction and the influence of the wrong company threatened to dim his future before it had even begun.

Recognizing the urgent need for change, our team stepped in with compassionate counseling that reached beyond the surface struggles. Through patient guidance and unwavering support, Irshad was encouraged to believe in himself and his potential for a better path.

Enrolled in 9th standard, with the steady encouragement of teachers and mentors, he began to leave the shadows behind. Irshad’s journey was not easy, but his determination grew stronger each day, culminating in his successful completion of the 10th grade, a victory that symbolized not just academic achievement but a profound personal transformation.

Today, Irshad stands as a beacon of hope for others facing similar challenges, proof that with support, resilience, and belief, even the darkest beginnings can lead to bright new chapters.

Muskan Khan: Rekindling Dreams

Muskan Khan’s journey is a testament to perseverance and hope. After Covid-19 disrupted her education, Muskan had adapted to earning a small income for her family, and her parents didn’t see school as a priority.

When approached by our founder and teachers, Muskan hesitated, anxious about returning and resuming studies after a long gap. Through heartfelt encouragement and guidance, she was enrolled directly into 9th grade, overcoming language barriers after previously studying in Urdu medium until 6th grade. Her determination flourished, she cleared the 10th grade, driven by supportive mentors and her own resolve.

Today, Muskan is pursuing her passion in 12th commerce and setting bold new goals for her future.

Sabina: Lighting the Way for Her Family

Sabina’s story reflects strength in adversity. Coming from a very poor background with many siblings, she felt responsible to support her family rather than continue her schooling.

Our initiative reached out, offering counseling and support that convinced her to return to school in 9th grade. Sabina’s hard work paid off, she excelled in her 10th grade exams and did not stop there.

Recognizing her dedication, our NGO also took care of her entire 11th standard educational costs so finance would not be a barrier.

Now, she has completed her 12th, standing as a beacon of hope for her siblings and showing them that education can open doors even in the toughest times.

Irfan Khan: Building a Brighter Future

Irfan Khan’s story is about resilience and ambition. Born into a family where his father works as a driver, education was a luxury few could afford, especially after the pandemic.

Initially, Irfan was reluctant to return to school and considered taking up work to help his family. With unwavering support from teachers and counselors, he found the courage to continue his studies.

Irfan not only cleared his 10th grade with good grades but went on to complete his HSC in science. Now, inspired by his journey and education, Irfan dreams of a career in the pharmaceutical industry, hoping to help others and build a better life for his family.

Satyaprakash: Finding His Voice and Confidence

Satyaprakash grew up in a low-income family, carrying a quiet shyness that made him fade into the background at school. Hesitant to speak and unsure of himself, he kept to the sidelines, unseen by many.

Recognizing that there was more to him than met the eye, our team enrolled him in 7th standard, pairing him with dedicated teachers who saw his potential even when he doubted himself. Through patient counseling and genuine encouragement, his teachers helped Satyaprakash gradually step out of his shell and believe in his abilities.

Their hard work and his perseverance paid off in a remarkable way. Satyaprakash not only passed his SSC exams, but scored an impressive 80%, a testament to his transformation from a reserved boy to a proud, confident achiever.

His story is living proof that, with the right guidance and support, even the quietest students can shine brightly and change the course of their own futures.
